Scrap That Poetry's 1st Blog Hop

Welcome to our 1st Scrap That Poetry Blog Hop!

Begins Friday at 9 am through Sunday night!

We hope to offer some inspiration as well as introduce you to our newest DT Members! If you would like to be entered in a drawing to win a RAK from Scrap That Poetry, you must become a follower of this blog, as well as comment on each DT member's blog. When you are finished hopping, you will come back here and leave a comment that you finished the hop! The overall RAK is a $15 online gift certificate to your favorite online store. (as long as they offer gift certificates.)

We are posting a bonus poem in honor of this hop as well as Valentine's Day! If you choose to scrap a layout, card or project that uses a line, verse or inspiration from the poem and you link it to this post, you will get 5 extra chances to win the gift certificate. If you post a link to our blog and mention the blog hop on your blog, you will receive an extra 2 chances if you tell us in the comment section.  If we break 100 followers, I will raise the gift certificate to $20.

Please welcome our newest DT members...

Wow, what an amazing amount of people who applied for our design team. I decided to add 6 new members to our team to share their amazing work with you! It was a very difficult decision. Thank you to all who applied!
I am also very happy to say that our current design team is staying on for another term, so you will have 12 inspiring layouts to see for each challenge!!!
I decided our guest designers will continue to be our winners from the challenges!
Stop back January 22-24th for our 1st Blog Hop. Our current design team will be introducing our newest designers to you! Plus we will have a bonus poem posted as well as some lovely work to share with you! I will be giving away a gift certificate to an online store to one lucky hopper who completes the entire blog hop and follows the criteria!

Design Team Call

All of us at Scrap That Poetry wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season and Happy New Year! Thank you for joining us this year! We look forward to seeing everyone's work in the New Year!
We will be having a blog hop January 8th, 9th and 10th! We hope you join us!

Design Team Call
It is hard to believe that time passes so quickly and it is time to have new designers join us for February through May! We will have some of our current designers staying on with us! If you are interested in becoming a designer or guest designer for Scrap That Poetry, here are all the details!
~
Please send me...
~ 2 of your favorite layouts exemplifying your scrapbook style (preferably recent- can be posted on your blog or gallery)
~ tell me about yourself (who you are, what you love to do, why you would like to join our challenge blog, any other design teams your design for) If you are on a design team, will you be able to take on another challenge?
~ A link to your blog or online gallery (you do not need one to apply)
~Your favorite poem and why
~The term will be for 4 months- February through May 2010
~Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
~Applications are open to everyone. International applicants are welcome!
~Previous Design team experience is not required.
I will be taking applications between today and January 15th.
I will announce the Design Team on January 17th!
Your first challenge will be emailed to you after you accept the position and due back to me by January 25th.
Layouts for each challenge are due on the 10th and 25th of the month.
You will be able to help in choosing the winner of each challenge.
Each designer should comment on participants blogs or galleries.
This is a non profit blog.
Designers do not receive compensation for their work; however can add it to their resume!
